The Planet and the Earthling Inhabitants can have a long future if we follow the following 10 point plan:
Work in progress
- keep our global population to a sustainable number. See our planet 3 billion page
- Stop worshiping endless progress and technology. Technology has created masses of drones that are killing the planet and swathes of humanity – human drones and unmanned military drones.
- Ban plastic packaging Microplastics are everywhere – in our food, water bodies and the air we breath.
- Eliminate meat consumption and adopt a healthy vegan diet
- Significantly reduce oil use – this can be achieved by reducing our numbers “We’ve come to use all the resources that are available for our use on the planet…we have to do something about population control, if possible, by birth control.” – Christian de Duve, biologist (1917-2013)
- Rethink War – Eliminate the state Mankind has been slaughtering its own kind for millennia, with weapons becoming more lethal and nuclear war a few bad decisions away its time we eliminate governments. Governments and war go hand in hand. Citizens do not want or care for war it is the controllers of the masses through fear and manipulation that force people against each other. Let no man of good will take it upon his conscience to advocate the rule of force — outside or inside his own country. Let all those who are actually concerned with peace — those who do love man and do care about his survival — realize that if war is ever to be outlawed, it is the use of force that has to be outlawed. In a statist economy, where wealth is “publicly owned,” a citizen has no economic interests to protect by preserving peace—he is only a drop in the common bucket—while war gives him the (fallacious) hope of larger handouts from his master. Ideologically, he is trained to regard men as sacrificial animals; he is one himself; he can have no concept of why foreigners should not be sacrificed on the same public altar for the benefit of the same state. – Ayn Rand
- Make products that have long lifespans with interchangeable parts.
- Make sustainability a part of the school curriculum
- Each citizen has a carbon credit linked in with payment cards.
- Punish and tax heavily polluting companies.
This can be done. Bhutan has many of the elements above and is one of the worlds happiest countries.
